...Well, I've been home sine June 13th and have been getting caught up on all the rest that I had been missing out on for the last few months. Although I've been resting, I've also had a few projects that are taking up my time.
First either my phone was lost or stolen on the 17th...and I went and got a new phone...but I didn't have my SIM card...so no contacts. I've finally finished dredging through around somewhere upward of 400 contacts and hopefully have everything sorted out and combined with no duplicates. If you know I have your info and haven't heard from me lately...resend me your info...it could have been one that I couldn't find/recover. The last major backup I did was in December 06...so if I got your info after that...I may not currently have it.
I also have to make room on my Hard Drives and consolidate and cull through all of the music I have and the pictures I had taken during the last tour...hopefully getting that all in order will free up some computer time...and make my computer more responsive.
For all of you who may not have heard...I will be going out on the "West Coast" Tour...or Tour 1...where I'm trading in my sewing needles for a C-Wrench! I'm leaving the Wardrobe Dept and moving to Assistant Carpenter and am looking forward to expanding my stagehand talent base.
Also...on Wednesday the 13...I had passed my CDL driving test...and per the State of Ohio, I can drive the big rigs all by myself...who's a big boy?
Although I haven't gotten my plane ticket...I believe that I'm supposed to be in Minneapolis on June 22...so almost 4 more weeks at home...hope that I get the chance to visit with everyone while I'm home.
I'll try to catalog my pics shortly after taking them...and then I can post some up quicker and hopefully keep on top of my blog this time around.
Gonna go watch some Penn & Teller Bullshit...

Driving through Connecticut...
...under a full moon...at 6PM and just hit into some of that famed northeast traffic.
Currently (other than this traffic), it's a beautiful night for driving...the weathrer is surprisingly doing well...and it was beautiful driving through New York (not the CITY mind you...we routed North of that thank you very much!).
Anyhow, depending on traffic, we should be arriving sometime around 9PM(ish)
I'm surprised and happy to be making this entry as it's the first time I've been able to use my phone to make an Internet connection to my computer.
So at the moment I'll sign off from I-84 Eastbound in CT...I hope the connection charges won't be too much!

Tis' The Season
Well...time has a way of going by very quickly.
Seems like not too long ago I was up in Fargo starting this tour...which was 4 months ago...and while pulling into Salem, VA, it seems like we were just here.
Anyhow...last week we were in Columbus, OH for Thanksgiving week...and I am thankful that I was so close to home and actually was able to be home for Thanksgiving with my family. A big thank you to my Mom for having the Thanksgivng dinner at home and also to my brother Joe and nephew Nick for driving me home and back downto Columbus again.
I can't believe that Christmas is less than 4 weeks away!
Which means 3 weeks left of tour for '06 and then off until the beginning of '07!
So far the weather has been wonderful...let's hope it behaves for the next 3 weeks as well.

It's been a long, long time...
Well, I've gotten sucked into the great time sink that is MySpace.
(When I am on line that is)
Time to break out of THAT mold...
Anyhow, I'm currently sitting in the truck somewhere in between Montgomery and Mobile , AL...OK, the GPS says that I'm just outside of Greenville, SC...with 400 miles to go to Lafayette, LA. After leaving the Cricket Arena last night we drove for 7.5 hours to get here. With the trucking rules...you have to rest for 10 hours before you can drive again...we stopped off at a Days Inn that had truck parking, but the check-out time was 11AM...we have to wait until 3PM till we can get back on the road...so we're sitting in the parking lot of the hotel.
I keep saying we because I'm with "Johnny"...one of our truck drivers. I have gotten a chance to drive the tractor a little bit in the parking lot in Charlotte and should be driving on the freeway soon. It's funny...I've riden in each of the trucks so far...and I've finally gotten to ride in the truck that I load!
I'll catch up more in a little bit...when I wanted to post something, I was to tired...and then when I had the time...I didn't have anything to say. I'll change that and put up some pictures too.

Super Grover: Ready For Action!
Is up and running! It seemed like an impossible task...but it has been accomplished.
We had a wonderful opening night on Friday followed by 3 shows yesterday...so we had to keep our opening night festivities on the DL for the most part...Jeff-O planned a wonderful reception with a chocolate fountain, cheese and crackers and drinks. Maybe not as healthy as the message behind our show...but TASTY!
Now on to our last show in Fargo and our first load out...we'll see how long that takes!
And then travelling Monday to Grand Rapids by bussing to Minneapolis (4 hours), flying to Chicago (1 hour air time) and then bussing to Grand Rapids (about another 3 hours)...
Tuesday...a complete day of rest...maybe?
