After getting out of the second show on Tuesday the snow had made it's appearance and made it a little tricky getting back to hotel. The snow continued all night long. On Wednesday morning I had thought that perhaps the show might have been cancelled due to the weather conditions...but we did do the show that morning. Later on in the evening Omaha was in a Snow Emergency and even though the Mayor was urging businesses and restaurants to close up he did not officially close the city...so, we did the show...I was a bit surprised...but, the show must go on!
On Thursday the weather had "cleared" and it was a bright sunny day...but still cold! In between shows, I went to lunch at Famous Daves with David, Jen and Christa. It was a bitter cold walk to the restaurant and back and we almost fell/slid down some stairs on the way there (it was a fun climb on the way back as well!), we then did the last show (with out largest crowd...due to the weather...and people using their unused tickets at the last show) it was a great last show in Omaha.
After the show was finished (actually during as well) we started packing things up and got them loaded on the trucks. Three and a half hours after the show was done the door were closed on the trucks and we were ready to make our way to Lincoln.
