The ride down from Grand Rapids to Memphis was long...but enjoyable.
The only slow downs were during the construction on I-80 in North IL and the last half hour coming into Memphis when I hit the wind and rain from Katrina, although I didn't feel the wind really pushing my car until I was coming over the Mississippi River on the Dolly Parton Bridge into Memphis.
